Listen on

Janna Ronert is the Founder and Chairwoman at IMAGE Skincare, a clean, clinical skincare brand powered by proven ingredients and smart botanicals.

Janna's journey began growing up on a farm where she learned the value of hard work and determination. Despite having an entrepreneurial spirit from a young age, Janna ended up working for Fortune 100 companies and found great success in different sales & marketing roles. Later in her career, she came to terms that she was not happy and realized her passion was always in skincare. She took a leap of faith, left her secure job, went back to school to become an esthetician, and started working at a doctor's office for minimum wage, immersing herself in the industry and eventually creating her own product line. Today, IMAGE Skincare is a global brand with over 25,000 customers across 60 countries and is the #1 spa and salon professional skincare brand in the US.

In the interview, Janna emphasizes the importance of following one's intuition and instincts when making career changes, as well as being aware of personal strengths and weaknesses. She candidly discusses her own experience of overcoming imposter syndrome, starting her product line with zero money, and the challenges and lessons she learned during the early days of her business. Janna talks about the power of visualization and how we can all think even bigger about our goals & dreams. Janna also shares insights into her most recent business venture, Hush & Hush, and highlights the differences between launching a business in the present day versus twenty years ago. Janna’s journey shows that anything in life is possible with hard work and patience, and I know it’s going to leave you feeling so inspired.
