Listen on

Kaisa Keranen (also known as KaisaFit) is the founder of Just Move, a company dedicated to changing people’s lives by showing them that movement isn’t always about weight loss and appearance but rather overall health.

Having suffered from depression since the age of 13, Kaisa found movement to be a tool for survival and when she injured herself in college, she knew she needed to figure out how to move her body her own way.

In this episode, we discover how Kaisa’s depression and alter-ego helped her become her true self and how she discovered her purpose to change lives through movement. Kaisa fills us in on the problematic fitness industry standards, the steps she took to find her new career path, and how she built a massive social media following with millions of followers.  We also talk about the importance of therapy and how it’s impacted both her personal and professional life.

Having a north star is essential when running a business and today, Kaisa shares with us her tips when it comes to coping with stress, busy seasons, and how she continues to sustain her energy. We also talk about why leaders need to delegate and have a good sense of self in order to know where their strengths and weaknesses lie. Tune in to hear Kaisa’s story and find out why we need to prioritize doing something for ourselves each day.
